As it turns out we have a problem with the date of May 31 for these clinics. Julie and Bill are kind enough to put these on but they need to be out of town for Carleigh’s soccer on May 31. I am asking you if you plan to attend the clinic and if so would u be available to do the clinic on May 24? We could possibly do June 7 but we prefer May 24. Please let me know so I can change the date.

As many of you know, Lake Pointe is planning a Junior Development Clinic on Friday, May 30th. We are located 20 minutes East of Memphis, TN. We have arranged for Kyle Nightingale to come in and coach the kids. I have worked with Kyle in the past and not only is he a very accomplished skier, but a great coach who is also great with kids. The cost of the clinic is $25 per skier and they will get as many rides as daylight will allow. Lunch and a t-shirt will be included. There will also be a tournament at Hilliard Crews' Lake on Saturday, May 31st (his lake is 20 minutes from Lake Pointe) and a tournament at our lake on Sunday (June 1st). It should be a fun weekend. The particulars for the Lake Pointe Tournament are:
Start time: 8:00 sharp
2 rounds of Slalom & 2 rounds of Tricks (3 round for single event skiers if time permits)
Entry Fees: $45 for adults; $40 for Jrs - (Max Entry Fee - $125 per family)
Entry Limit: First 40 entries (please have entries in by May 15th)
Awards for the Jrs (1st thru 3rd in each event)

Please send your entry forms in as soon as possible. We need to get an accurate head count for both the Jr Clinic and the Tournament. Also, let me know if you are planning on skiing in both the clinic & the tournament or just one of them. Please note what your t-shirt size is and if you are a judge or driver (and what events) so that we can plan accordingly.
Also, for any out of town guest, the Hampton Inn has blocked off some rooms and cut the rate for us (and breakfast is included with the rooms). When you call in, make sure that you tell them you are with the “TEAM TN WATER SKI” tournament. They also donated a voucher for a free weekend stay at the Hampton Inn. It will be auctioned off with all proceeds going to the TN Jr. Development fund. And the voucher CAN be used that weekend. The Hampton Inn’s phone number is 901-854-9400.
