1st and foremost....the $1000.00 clue dues was a joke. But it did get several responses. So, I know you're out there.

4) Wave Brake System
As of this time the wave brake system has been shelved.
Gary Sandberg, with Andrew Loyd's help, has put a lot of personal time into the building of a test system. A trial of the test system has taken place once on the water and this testing may continue. A big "THANK YOU" to Gary for his time and effort.
However, concerns over maintenance requirements were discussed. Lake level changes, the multiple anchors involved which would require individual adjustments were addressed. We all know the first time our ski sets are disrupted by needed adjustments/repairs to the system we would develop contempt toward it. Heck, how long does it take to get a boat guide replaced?
Also, legal issue concerns were addressed.
A system is available commercially. However, the $120 per foot price tag puts it financially out of the club's reach. Also, you would still have the lake level changes and multiple anchor problems to deal with.
5) Club's donation to In-His-Wakes Ministries
The In-His-Wakes Ministries depends on donations to keep it afloat. It would be nice if our club's membership made a donation this year. Church/Corporate sponsorship is always welcome. So, talk to folks at your place of worship and/or work place. Donations are tax deductible.
6) The Jump
Plans are in the works to add a short extension to the back of the jump. This would allow a more convenient and boat friendly place to tie-up when retrieving a new boat guide/turn ball etc. Also, volunteers are needed to help build this and for cleaning and waxing the jump. If interested and able to help, let Jason Tucker know when you are available.
